Design for a Cause

Another project under development is utilizing YOCard as a platform for local artists/designers to showcase their visual creativity in support of various advocacies. This aims to inspire, educate and challenge the general public to take action regarding communal issues. Cancer awareness, Earth Day, Free Hugs and Design Beautification are just some examples of topics translated into postcards and bookmarks. Design whiz groups have lent their hands to noteworthy causes and they are Everywhereweshoot, Team Manila, Inksurge and 27+20.

 

Aside from the opportunity to have the designs published, designers are given the prospect of widening their connections and exposure which may provide them a new stream of potential projects in the future.
